Ukrainian people can take advantage of visa-free regime and travel without difficulty through Europe starting from today.
Starting at midnight June 11, 2017, all Ukrainian citizens, who have a biometric passport, can visit 30 European countries without visas: all EU countries except for UK and Ireland, as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. Ukrainians can stay there up to 90 days during each period of 180 days.
In order to travel, one should be in possession of biometric passport, return ticket, insurance and money. If you have an invitation, it is enough to have an email with the contact information of the host party.
Ukrainian diplomats are to monitor the situation today at checkpoints with Poland. Consular representatives will be at the crossing points from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. Polish time.
