“The EU has officially recognized that the Ukrainian Covid certificates at Diya app comply with the European. The Ukrainians will be able to travel safely again without restrictions caused by the pandemic,” the message says.
It is noted that on August 20m, from 10:00 up 10:30, the briefing will take place during which the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Health Ministry, and the EU tell about the project, its technical part, how it will work and when Ukrainians will be able to travel with Diya certificates.
Earlier, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko claimed that the EU would give Ukraine an advantage over third countries in terms of order of recognition of Covid certificates.
As it was reported earlier, on July 5, the first certificates appeared in the app. They are already received by Ukrainians who have been vaccinated with Pfizer / BioNTech (Comirnaty), AstraZeneca-SK Bio (Vaxzevria), Covishield, and Sinovac (CoronaVac). AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer / BioNTech, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines have been approved in the EU.
