The European Commission is ready to give Ukraine a tranche in the amount of 1 billion euro. Rikard Jozwiak, Radio Svoboda reporter wrote this on Twitter.

After the proposal comes, the EU countries and the European Parliament will discuss it. Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission commented on this for 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“The European Commission supported the new program of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine, yet the procedures are still being conducted. I think, that the European Commission will make an official proposal next week. There will be an official proposal, which will be discussed by the EU countries and the European Parliament,” Dombrovskis said.
As we reported earlier, Oleksandr Danylyuk, the Finance Minister, said that the European Commission approved a new program of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine.
