Eric Roberts, a famous Hollywood actor, arrived in Odesa, where he will be a special guest at the 9th international movie festival, as Dumskaya reports.
At the airport he gave a brief interview and called Oleg Sentsov, a Ukrainian movie director kept in Russia as a political prisoner, a genius and congratulated him with birthday.
Eric Roberts starred in the following movies – Dark Angel, The Odyssey, The Expendables. He was nominated for Golden Globe Award three times and one time for Oscar. The actor is Julia Robert’s brother.
The 9th Odesa international movie festival starts today on July 13 and will last till July 21. 95 countries will present their movies. Besides, the festival’s program includes a performance in support on Oleg Sentsov.
On July 14, Eric Roberts will conduct an art meeting within the festival.
