Entire territory of Ukraine will be digitized next year, - PM

All information collected will be useful in framework of launch of land reform.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that the entire territory of Ukraine will be digitized next year. The PM wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“The whole territory of Ukraine will be digitized next year! An international tender for the implementation of such aerial photography has already been announced. This means that Ukraine will have high-quality and accurate 3D models of forests, industrial facilities, as well as classifications of buildings, vegetation, power lines and much more," - said the prime minister.

As Honcharuk noted, all the information collected will be useful as part of the launch of land reform - natural resource cadasters and topographic maps will have reliable data on the territory.

"They will be used in the design of Ukrainian roads. This will reduce the cost of the process and save time on construction, but the quality will only increase. Thanks to aerial photography, it will be possible to irrigate the land effectively, which will positively affect the yield," - he added.

According to the prime minister, a powerful economic effect is expected. So, investors will be able to easily design facilities, invest in Ukrainian infrastructure.

As we reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that in the next 3-5 years "high-quality roads", which would connect all major cities, should appear in Ukraine.
