The building at 40/1 Khreshchatyk Street, which went on fire on June 20 in the evening, may partially come down. This was reported by the press service of State Emergency Service’s department in Kyiv.
"There is a threat of partial collapse of the building, which may lead to classificatory state of emergency," the message reads.
As it was reported, the building of former Central Gastronome went up in flames in Kyiv on June 20. The approximate area of fire was 1000 square meters. The affected house was build in 1873. The fire occurred at about 5 p.m., rescuers manage to stop fire at 9:04 p.m. Police opened criminal proceeding on the occurrence.
