As of Saturday, October 30, all regions of Ukraine have reached the coronavirus vaccination threshold of 80% among teachers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science.

According to the updated data on the immunization of teachers, almost 85% of kindergarten workers and about 92% of employees of specialized educational institutions have already received one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

In the meantime, almost 76% of workers in special institutions and about 62% of kindergarten teachers have already been vaccinated with two doses.

The leading regions in terms of vaccination of preschool teachers are Ternopil (97.7%), Kharkiv (95.2%) and Donetsk (92.9%) regions. The largest number of teachers vaccinated against Covid-19 is in Kherson (99.2%), Zaporizhia (97.8%) and Cherkasy (97.3%) regions.

It is noted that eight regions have not yet reached this indicator among preschool teachers, however, as indicated, most of them are literally one step away from the goal.

As we reported, unvaccinated officials and teachers will be suspended from work from November 8.

Certificates on contraindications for vaccination will begin to be issued in the beginning of November. The Ministry of Health estimates that no more than 1% of the population has real contraindications to coronavirus vaccination.
