The Ecumenical Patriarchate and exarchs sustained mass cyber attacks, as Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, said after meeting with the exarchs, Radio Liberty reports.

“I would like to say something right now. Lately, mass cyber attacks are being conducted at Fener, the Ecumenical Patriarchate and at the exarchs. Indeed, those who are behind this, have nothing sacred,” Klimkin noted.

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, and Pavlo Klimkin met with the exarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Kyiv on September 17.

Bishop Daniel, the exarch in Ukraine, confirmed that the representatives of The Ecumenical Patriarchate continued working on providing the autocephaly to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Reportedly, Ecumenical Patriarchate appointed two authorized representatives for the preparation to the autocephaly.

The Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia from the U.S. and Archbishop Hilarion of Edmonton from Canada became the representatives of Constantinople in Kyiv.
