Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine held a number of meetings and negotiations with the leaders of the European countries at the 'Easters Partnership' summit in Brussels as the presidential administration reported.
Poroshenko met Charles Michel, the Prime Minister of Belgium. The Ukrainian leader informed him on the perspectives of the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas.
Also, Poroshenko held the negotiations with Juha Sipila, the Prime Minister of Finland. The president of Ukraine urged the Finnish Prime Minister to prudently consider the issue of the building of the 'Nord Stream-2'. Also, they discussed the bilateral relations and extension of the anti-Russian sanctions.
Moreover, Poroshenko thanked Klaus Iohannis, the President of Romania during their meeting for the co-authorship in the creation of the draft resolution on Crimea that will be considered by the UN General Assembly in December.
Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia and Petro Poroshenko emphasized the intention to continue the gas transporting through Slovakia to Ukraine during the meeting. They noted the importance of the renewal of the activity of the inter-governmental commission on the economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation. The next session of the commission is planned for the first half of 2018.
As we reported earlier, Poroshenko and Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany discussed the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas.
