On Wednesday, September 8, an earthquake was recorded near the Brestiv village of Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.5. This was reported on the website of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“On September 8, at 4:32 p.m., measuring instruments of the seismic station of the Carpathian region near the village of Brest, Mukachevo district, recorded an earthquake of magnitude 2.5, which resulted in no negative consequences,” the statement reads.
The department noted that the State Emergency Service did not receive any appeals from citizens.
As it was reported, in Zakarpattia region, in Yasinya village, residents suffered from heavy rains as houses were flooded and cars were damaged.
