Downpour in Odesa: streets are flooded

On the night of July 27 a downpour occurred in Odesa. As a result, some of the streets are flooded, as Vgorode.ua reports.

As the news agency informs, the storm water basins got full fast because of the dirt and garbage the water washed off into the storm sewers.

Moreover, the wind gusts beat down the trees on some streets.

At the moment the workers of the public utilities are dealing with the consequences of the bad weather, the rideability of the roads is restored.

Reportedly, a heavy rain, thunderstorm, and hail occurred in Kyiv on Wednesday. Some of the streets turned into ‘rivers’ and caused traffic jams downtown. Users of social networks were sharing their impressions on happenings. The drivers are recommended to not travel by own cars.

Due to the inclement weather conditions, a bridge partially collapsed on the corner of Kyrylivska and Telihy streets on Wednesday.  

Kyiv City State Administration Emergency Control dispatched water pumps to Dorohozhychi area and Dehtiarivska Street due to the flood of the streets after the rain.
