Suspended head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov says he is not imitating illness and not going to leave Ukraine, he is also ready to take the matter to court to prove "groundlessness and absurdity" of charges against him. He posted the message on his Facebook page.
"I am determined to go to court and take part in hearing personally regarding the preventive measure towards me. I will also prove groundlessness and absurdity of charges in court also," Roman Nasirov notes.
At the same time, he announced that he plans to rehabilitate successfully pretty soon and then he will be ready to "crush all far-fetched accusations in court".
"Unfortunately, the body could not bear sudden psychological pressure. But, as I said, I am interested in leaving the hospital as soon as possible to prove the stupidity of charges," he added.
He also says he is not imitating illness and has no intention of staying in wheelchair. Nasirov claims he will not leave the country and asked not to make a scapegoat of him.
"Don’t make me a scapegoat. I am a patriot of Ukraine, my parents, wife, tree kids and friends live here. I was not going to escape anywhere, and I am not going to in future," he stressed.
