Donbas war veteran Ihor Panov (nickname Khan) and his wife were attacked in Kyiv as ex-Deputy Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs Heorhy Tuka reported on Facebook.
“The simultaneous attack was committed at husband-veteran and his wife. The state is critical,” he wrote.
Volunteer Tatiana Hrubenyuk reported that the affected are on life support.
“They were found unconscious with a bashed-in head…They were transferred to hospital #17. They had the surgeries urgently. During the cranial trepanation, Khan had excessive bleeding and blood loss. He had 16 transfusions; Oksana had a little less. Both are on the life support, artificial lungs ventilation machines,” the volunteer reported.
Earlier Donbas Conflict veteran Vasyl Davydenko, who earlier disclosed his sexual orientation, was beaten by a crowd near his house.
