In Ukraine, during quarantine, citizens will have their documents checked to monitor compliance with restrictions. The documents will be checked by police officers, the National Guard and officials authorized by local governments, Cabinet of Ministers stated in a resolution.
The list of documents that may be required for verification is as follows:
- identity documents confirming citizenship or special status;
- certificates of refugee status;
- documents confirming vaccination against Covid-19;
- certificate of negative Covid-19 testing or disease transmission.
The above documents can be checked on the streets, in parks, public places (public buildings and structures, catering establishments), entertainment establishments (night clubs), as well as in public transport.
Such inspections will be carried out by police officers, the National Guard and officials authorized by local governments.
As it was reported, in Ukraine, software was developed for policemen's tablets to check digital Covid certificates in Diya app and paper versions. The check of the accuracy of the vaccination certificates will start on October 21.
Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko stated that 900 mobile teams will monitor compliance with quarantine in Ukraine.
