Documents on the businessman and the president of FC Karpaty Petro Dyminsky were passed to Interpol. This was reported by the speaker of the National Police of Ukraine Yaroslav Trakalo in the commentary Ukrainian Truth.
"The National Police filed documents concerning this person to the General Secretariat of Interpol in Lyon. After examining all documents, the Secretary General will decide whether to declare him wanted. According to the rules, Interpol will study the documents provided by the Ukrainian side, in particular, regarding racial or religious discrimination, " Trakalo said.
He added that in the case of a positive decision after having found out his whereabouts, an extradition mechanism will be used.
The day before, Petror Dyminsky was put on the wanted list. On the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine it is indicated that Dyminsky is hiding from law enforcement officers since December 11. He is wanted on the fact of committing a crime, provided for by Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules, which led to the death of the victim).
Earlier, the police reported that Dyminsky was suspected of causing a fatal accident on August 18. It was noted that the law enforcers are now searching his whereabouts.
As it was reportedf earlier ZIK TV channel is claiming about an attempted of illegal seizure by Verkhovna Rada deputy Hlib Zagoriy.
The management of the TV channel says the cause of the recent events surrounding the investigation of the fatal road accident in Yamelne with the car from the motorcade of TV channel investor Petro Dyminsky, the owner's refusal to "transfer the channel for management for 3 years".
"With such a proposal, people's deputy from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Hlib Zagoriy and his wife Yekateryna Kotenko (ex-member of National TV Council) recently addressed Lviv businessman, who is currently abroad, on behalf of the Presidential Administration. After this unsuccessful illegal seizure attempt began other manipulations of public opinion by law enforcement agencies about Dyminsky's involvement in the road accident, "the statement said.
