Dismissal of Verkhovna Rada: Supreme Court receives third lawsuit on recognition of presidential decree illegal

The Supreme Court of Ukraine received the third lawsuit with a demand to recognize the presidential decree on the dismissal of the Parliament on May 24, as the press office of the court reported on Facebook.

“Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court received a request to recognize the actions of the President of Ukraine illegal in terms of signing of the decree “On early termination of the mandate of the Verkhovna Rada and appointment of snap elections” in the part of appointing early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 21, 2019,” the message reads.

A physical entity filed the application to the chancellery of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court. The judge will rule in the following procedural actions.

It should be noted that this was the third statement sent to the Supreme Court within two days.
