The disengagement of forces and equipment in Zolote, Luhansk region is finished. The territory is controlled by Interior Ministry of Ukraine as Defense Minister Andriy Zahorodnyuk stated.
“Currently, it (the disengagement) is almost finished and the territory is under the control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs completely,” Zahorodnyuk said.
As we reported earlier, on October 1, the sides agreed on the beginning of the disengagement of the forces in Zolote (Luhansk region) and Petrovske (Donetsk region) during the Trilateral Contact Group session.
On October 29, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko stated that the process of the disengagement of forces and equipment in Zolote village in the Luhansk region has begun, the next disengagement would be in Petrivske.
Later, the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation confirmed the disengagement of forces in Zolote, Luhansk region.
The last shelling in Petrovske, where the next disengagement of forces and equipment should take place on November 4, was on October 30 and the date of the division should be reconsidered.
