The Security Service of Ukraine claims about the arrest of two deserters on the border with Crimea, who went to serve in the Russian army after the annexation of the peninsula. This was said in a comment to "Interfax" by the service.

Commenting the information of the Russian Defense Ministry on the alleged illegal detention of two Russian soldiers by the Ukrainian secret service and kidnapping them from Crimea, the Security Service of Ukraine said: "It is about two former Ukrainian troops, who broke the oath and went to serve in the Russian army after the illegal annexation of the Crimea."

"They were arrested after crossing the border to Chonhar,” it was reported in the secret service, noting that Security Service of Ukraine is investigating the criminal proceedings regarding  these two people on the articles "desertion" and "treason" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
