Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of the State Migration Service revealed her version of the incident with the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). According to her, Serhy Boyarsky, the NABU agent established the informal friendly relations with her and began to offer a bribe to legalize the foreigners. She claimed this at the press conference broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
Pimakhova claimed that she was appointed at the position of First Deputy Head in February 2017 with the probation term in six months. Later, she got acquainted with the worker of NABU in April 2017.
Boyarsky found Pimakhova through the post on the sale of the minibus and presented himself as Serhy Tytenkov, the manager of Arabian investment fund ‘Mubadala’.
‘He got acquainted with me using some trust and friendly relation. Our communication did not run beyond the companionship and did not concern my work during a few months but then he began to offer the solution of the issues on the illegal legalization of the foreigners in Ukraine but I refused from this. He continued to make such offers during our next meetings but noted that I can have some money reward for this. Then I told him that there is a criminal responsibility for such actions but he answered that he is forced to appeal to other people. I appealed to the SBU after this meeting’, Pimakhova said.
According to her, she got to know after the detention that it was the agent of the NABU instead of Serhy Tytenkov, the manager of the Arabian investment fund.
‘I got to know during the detention that the SBU confiscated the special technical equipment and that he has another name – Serhy Boyarsky’, she added.
As we reported earlier that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) during the attempt to bribe Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of State Migration Service.
