The official was beaten up in the hall of a house at Lypkivskoho street in Kyiv. The ambulance took him to a hospital; he sustained a craniocerebral injury, concussion and other head injuries.
His press secretary Halyna Shpak reports that as of 12 a.m., Slonchak was not at the intensive care unit, but his condition was still tough. "He has 14 stitches applied to his head," she said.
Slonchak has been serving as Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration since December 2018. He is also the head of the Supervisory Board of Kyivmiskbud, the Kyiv-based construction holding company.
