The deputy of the deceased Vitaliy Shishov, the head of the Belarusian House in Ukraine (BHU), Rodion Batulin, was banned from entering Ukraine. This was reported by the organization on the Telegram channel.
"This morning at the Ustyluh border checkpoint, BHU Deputy Chairman Rodion Batulin was informed about the ban on entering Ukraine for a period of three years," activists stated.
According to Batulin, border guards said they did not know the reason for the ban, and referred to the "secrecy" of the Security Service of Ukraine.
At the time of Shishov's death, Batulin was in the territory of the European Union, where he went for work on July 14. After the tragic news, he immediately returned to Kyiv. However, he was not allowed to enter Ukraine on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
As it was reported earlier, the leader of the Belarusian house in Ukraine Vitaliy Shishov disappeared on August 2. Later police found hanged Shishov's body in Kyiv's park. The public organization Belarusian House in Ukraine claimed that he was killed as part of a "special operation planned by Belarusian KGB."
