The Ukrainian law enforcers do not consider the deportation or extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia and former head of Odesa Regional Administration but they plan to question him. Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine claimed this at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
‘I think that there cannot be any concessions when Saakashvili acts this way. The deportation or extradition is out of the question now. The issue is about the questioning, suspicion in the commitment of the especially grave crime and the responsibility will be proper. Saakashvili is halfway to the status of the suspect’ Lutsenko said.
As we reported Saakashvili was detained in the suspicion of the support of the criminal group in the organization of the criminal activity. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, Saakashvili financed the protests to take power for the funds of the allies of Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine.
