Delta strain of Covid-19: Ukrainians not recommended to travel to four countries

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine insistently recommends the citizens refrain from traveling to countries, where the largest outbreak of a new, aggressive strain of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Delta is observed as the ministry reported.

Particularly, the Ukrainians are not recommended to visit India, the UK, Portugal and Russia until the epidemic situation stabilizes.

Citizens who stay in the territory of mentioned countries have to accurately observe the anti-epidemic demands and guidelines of the representatives of the competent bodies of the country of stay.

In case of symptoms of respiratory disease, the Ukrainian travelers can appeal to the local medical establishments and be ready for extra quarantine after return home.

As we reported, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stated that the newest Indian strain of coronavirus Delta was observed in Ukraine.

Due to it, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced a mandatory coronavirus antigen test for crossing the Ukrainian border for people traveling from a number of countries.
