Ukraine’s Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov believes that Germany and France should bear responsibility for the occupation of Crimea. He made this statement at a briefing following the meeting of the council.
"Because these two countries (Germany and France, ed.) refused Ukraine and Georgia to join the Membership Action Plan in 2008. And Georgia was attacked in 2008. After that, there is the situation with the occupied Crimea. Should Germany and France bear responsibility for this? I think they should," Danilov said.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov also stressed that if one country violates the borders of another, it is not enough to be "just worried"
