Defense Minister announces bonuses for Ukrainian servicemen before they enter Joint Forces operation

Ukrainian servicemen, who begin an intensive phase of preparation before joining the Joint Forces operation, will receive bonuses. Ukraine's Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak reported this on Facebook.

“I decided to grant these servicemen bonuses of $112 in order to enhance the motivation of the personnel of the Armed Forces units, who begin the final active phase of combat coordination in training centers and landfills before entering the areas of the Joint Forces operation,” Defense Minister wrote.

As we reported earlier, the Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime 10 times in the Donbas combat zone, including they fired wit the Minsk-banned weaponry five times. 

The enemy fired with the Minsk-banned weaponry, in particular, with 122 mm artillery systems and 82 mm mortar. 

Besides, they opened fire with grenade launchers of various systems, anti-tank rifles, heavy machine guns, and small arms. 

The attacks have been registered near Vodiane, Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka and Starohnativka settlements. At the same time, the occupants fired near Travneve and Novoluhanske villages.
