The next meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will take place on Friday, July 16. The introduction of new sanctions meeting will be considered, the relevant sanctions lists are already being formed. This was stated by Defense Secretary Oleksiy Danilov during a briefing.

"Volodymyr Zelensky decided to hold a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council this Friday. It will be held in one of the regional centers, it will be known tomorrow where exactly. The agenda has already been decided upon by the president. This will be the first field meeting of the National Security and Defense Council," Danilov said.

According to him, issues related to the region where the meeting will take place will be considered. The agenda will also include issues of national security, NATO and sanctions policy.

"Will sanctions be imposed this Friday? Sanctions will be considered this week. I cannot say who will be there, but the relevant agencies are already drawing up lists," the NSDC secretary added.
