Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov will hold speech at the meeting of Ukraine-NATO Commission on Donbas conflict. He is now  at the headquarters of the Alliance, where he intends to hold negotiations with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. This was stated on Turchynov’s personal website.

"The program of the visit provides for the participation of Ukraine’s Secretary of National Security and Defense Council and NATO Secretary General in the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission. Turchynov will deliver a comprehensive report on the security situation in the East of Europe and counteracting Russian aggression," the message said. Supreme Headquarters

Also, Turchynov will meet with the Staff General of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, General Markus Kneip.

Later, a visit is planned to the Multi-purpose Crisis Management Centre and NATO Situation Centre (SITCEN).

As it was reported earlier the parliamentary factions came to a consensus on almost all amendments in the bill on de-occupation of the Donbas. It is expected that the document will be adopted in the second reading. This was reported by the Secretary of Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Ivan Vinnyk on November 13. 

Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on de-occupation of Donbas on October 6. 233 people's deputies voted for it. Thus, the Anti-Terrorist Operation can become the self-defense of Ukraine, Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will replace the Anti-Terrorism Center and head the defenders of the state territories. The reference to Minsk agreement was excluded from the document. Other changes are also planned, because the document was adopted only in the first reading.
