The meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will take place in the President's Office tomorrow, July 16, in Kyiv at 4:30 pm, and not on the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in Sumy region, as it was previously planned, ZN.UA reports.

"The field meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, which included a report by the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deyneko, was to be dedicated mainly to the state of equipment and strengthening of Ukrainian borders," the agency writes.

The agenda of July 16 meeting of the National Security and Defense Council in Kyiv includes six issues, one of which is secret. In particular, council members will discuss the imposition of personal and economic sanctions.

Among other issues - state policy on citizenship and the possibility of introducing new measures in this sphere, the admission of foreign armed forces on Ukrainian territory this year for their participation in two military drills - Independence Unites 2021 and Joint Efforts 2021, the development of prospecting and extraction of minerals in the context of economic development of the country and improvement of defense capability.

On July 14, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expanded the war cabinet of the National Security and Defense Council. Earlier there were 12 members, now seven more have been added. A week ago, the Cabinet of Ministers offered the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against some Belarusians involved in rigging of presidential elections.
