The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine voted for admission of representatives of foreign states to the military exercises "Joint Efforts - 2021", which will be held in Ukraine from September 22 to 30. This was announced by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov during a briefing.

"The Minister of Defense presented the issue of the Joint Efforts 2021 exercise, in which we are working with partners from NATO member countries. They will begin in September this year, next week. And today we voted for the admission of our partners, foreign states to these exercises," he said.

As we reported earlier, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed sanctions against persons who are involved in the holding of elections to the Russian State Duma on the territory of occupied Donbas and annexed Crimea.

According to him, the sanctions will affect the participants, members of the commission, agitators and observers.

"All participants in this process, members of commissions, agitators, observers. All of them will be sanctioned. Sanctions will be applied by presidential decree in the near future," the NSDC secretary said.
