The Defence Ministry confirmed information about 33 attacks at the Armed Forces positions in JFO zone over the past 24 hours, on July 24, as Dmytro Hutsulyak, Defence Ministry Spokesperson, said at the briefing, 112.ua reports.
14 attacks performed by the Russian occupation troops in Luhansk sector were documented on July 24.
The militants were firing at the Ukrainian positions using grenade launchers of various types and small arms. The militants violated ceasefire near Pivdenne, Novgorodske, Zalizne, Luhanske. The enemy violated ceasefire near Zolote three times. Russian military used weapon against the defenders of Krymske. The occupants used infantry fighting vehicles near Luhanske.
In Donetsk sector, the Joint Forces units came under fire 19 times.
The Russian occupation troops shelled ten 120-mm mines and were shooting from anti-tank guided missile at our defenders near Vodyane at around 1 am.
The enemy also applied 122-mm artillery against the Ukrainian soldiers.
A few artillery rounds were performed at the defenders of Novotroitske from the occupied Dokuchaievsk side at around 10:30 pm.
Meanwhile, the enemy performed four attacks from 122-mm artillery and launched around 20 mines from 120- and 82-mm mortar launchers at the defenders of Lebedynske. The firing was performed from Azov side.
Moreover, Russian occupation troops were conducting longtime attacks from grenade launchers of various types and other infantry armaments near Avdiivka, Marinka, Vodyane, Pavlopil, Opytne, Talakivka, Lebedynske, Shyrokyne, Novotroitske and Pisky.
In total, 33 attacks were documented on July 24.
In response, the Ukrainian military opened fire around ten times from the staff infantry arms.
Since midnight, the Ukrainian military recorded four adjusted attacks performed by the enemy.
The Russian troops applied grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at our defenders near Luhanske, Pivdenne, Avdiivka and Lebedynske.
No casualties among the Ukrainian soldiers reported.
