The Constitutional Court of Ukraine stated that any decision is made concerning the possible recognition of the land reform as unconstitutional. It is planned to consider the case later as the court reported.
“The Constitutional Court of Ukraine consider the constitutional procedure on the submission of 48 MPs of Ukraine toward the conformity with the Constitution of Ukraine of the law on the amendment of some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the conditions of agriculture land turnover and particular paragraphs of the Land Code of Ukraine,” the message said.
It is reported that the cases were combined in one constitutional procedure; it had to be considered on September 29 but it was postponed due to the appeal of the representative of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine who stated that he not participate in the session personally.
“On Monday, November 2, at the closed part of the plenary session, the court considered the case on the constitutional submission of 46 MPs of Ukraine toward the official interpretation of the paragraphs of the first point of Part 1, Article 13, Part 1, Article 14 of the Constitution of Ukraine. The decision of the court was not made. The consideration will continue at one of the next plenary sessions of the court,” the court explained.
On November 2, the Constitutional Court considered the idea of the interpretation of land as the main national wealth. The Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court did not adopt the decision. It will be considered during the next session; however, its date is unknown yet.
