The recent decision of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against crime bosses and thieves in law contained mistakes regarding 108 people. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov during a briefing.

"The next issue on the agenda we considered was on the status of execution of the protocol order, which concerns the application of sanctions against smugglers and thieves in law. We started with the criminal elements. We heard a report from the Minister of Internal Affairs. Unfortunately, the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council, which were prepared earlier, contained intentional or unintentional mistakes concerning 108 people, which we have already corrected. The minister informed that 8 people involved in the preparation of these documents had been punished, some of whom had been dismissed from the Ministry of the Interior, and two had been demoted," Danilov reported.
