Military parade will be held on Independence Day of Ukraine

About 30 Czech military servicemen will participate in the parade on Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24 as reported.

27 military men from the Guard of Honor will come from Czechia to the capital of Ukraine.

“The Czech army will send 27 members of Prague Guard of Honor who will be partakers of the military parade. Participating in the parade, we show that we highly appreciate Ukraine as a partner and the values of independence itself,” representative of Czech Defense Ministry Marek Vala said.

Initially, it was planned that Defense Minister Lubomír Metnar vill come to Kyiv for celebration; however, Czechia will be presented by Deputy Defense Minister Jan Havranek and First Deputy Head of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Jaromir Zuna.

Earlier, it was reported that the military parade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence will be held on the central street of Kyiv on August 24. In addition, aircraft will make a flight as part of the air column of security and defense forces and the armed forces of partner countries.
