The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea urges the residents of the occupied peninsula not to vote on the illegal elections, which will be held tomorrow on September 9. Press secretary of the Prosecutor's Office Kateryna Didenko wrote it on her Facebook

"The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea encourages not to participate in the illegal elections on the temporarily occupied territory of the peninsula and in Sevastopol city. It is also required to inform the law enforcement agencies about all the known facts of elections organization in Crimea," reads the statement.

Didenko emphasizes that the so-called elections to Crimean Parliament and local councils are not accepted as legal institutions in Ukraine, the EU, the USA, and other countries.

As it was reported earlier, 362,000 citizens and 53,000 vehicles had crossed the administrative border with annexed Crimea at both directions in August 2019

172,000 people proceeded to the annexed peninsula and 190,000 people were heading out to mainland Ukraine.
