Crimean patrol police appeares in Ukraine

From now on, 65 patrol police officers will work at the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea

National Police in Kherson region

Kherson region separate unit of patrol police began to work in the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol. It is headed by Viktor Levchenko. This was reported by the press service of the Chief Department of the National Police in the region.

It is noted that 65 patrol police officers will be stationed at the checkpoints in the three border areas: Henichesk, Kalanchak and Chaplinka. Also, the law enforcers will control the main highways connecting the mainland with the peninsula.

These patrol officers will serve also in Arabat Spit, where the resort settlements are located.

As it was reported earlier, on March 18, 2018, at the fourth anniversary of the Crimea's annexation, the election of the president of Russia took place there.

The current Russian President beats a record of the support, receiving 56.2 million of votes or 76.65 percent of votes, with 99% ballots processed. 

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recognized the Russian election in Crimea illegal and doubted the legitimacy of the election.
