The occupied Crimea is separated from mainland Ukraine by frontier on the official website for the 2020 summer Olympic Games in Japan. The error can be seen in the Olympics-Cheer Zone popup. There is a border between mainland Ukraine and Crimea.

The Ukraine's Ministry for Foreign Affairs has not yet commented on this mistake with the country's border.

The error has not yet been corrected on the official website of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

As it was reported earlier, the Olympic Games in Tokyo were supposed to take place in the summer of 2020. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the games were postponed for a year. The Olympics will run from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
