Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 8,172 new cases of Covid-19, including 519 children and 292 workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

2,806 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 151 patients deceased, and 1,353 recovered. 78,040 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in in Ivano-Frankivsk (892), Lviv (696), Vinnytsia (694), Chernivtsi (670), and Zakarpattia (621) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,342,016 people have contracted the disease, 1,168,321 have overcome it, 25,893 - have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Ukraine will receive 10 million doses of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk.

"According to the results of the agreements between the team of diplomats and the Office of the President, 10 million doses of Pfizer vaccines are being prepared for shipment to Ukraine. The draft contract has already been sent to the Ministry of Health," the message says. 

The vaccine will be sent to Ukraine from the USA.
