As we reported earlier, at one of the Lithuanian hospitals, a patient got five doses of Covid-19 vaccine by mistake.

“It happened so that the bottle with vaccine was not dilute and all five doses in the bottle were injected to one person. It is a human factor. Nothing bad happened to the patient,” Hospital Director Mantas Čėsna said.

He noted that a woman, who got five doses of vaccine, feels good but she also feels severe pain at the injection spot.

After the incident, doctors consulted with Kaunas clinic and Pfizer representatives as the patient was vaccinated by this vaccine. Professor and Doctor of Medicine Vytautas Usonis stated that such cases happened before. It should not raise concerns.
