2,269 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 227 patients deceased, and 17,102 recovered. 77,685 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kharkiv (567), Kyiv (477), Dnipropetrovsk (457), Donetsk (336) and Kyiv (336) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,165,233 people have contracted the disease, 1,899,446 have overcome it, 48,696 - have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) have concluded an agreement on $90 million on the beginning of the Ukraine Emergency COVID-19 Response and Vaccination project as the Health Ministry reported.
The agreement was signed by Ukraine’s Health Ministry and World Bank Regional Country Director for Eastern Europe Arup Banerji.
“About 2.5 billion hryvnias ($90 million) will provide Ukraine for the development of extra possibilities in the fight against the pandemic. The funds will aim at three directions: about 1.1 billion hryvnias ($40 million) for support of vaccines’ procurement; about 850 million hryvnias ($30 million) for the deployment of the vaccination against Covid-19 and over 550 million hryvnias ($20 million) provided for enhancing of the possibility of testing holding for coronavirus in Ukraine,” the message says.
