Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 3,177 new cases of Covid-19, including 146 children and 86 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

1,960 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 79 patients deceased, and 4,126 recovered. 19,059 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in  Ivano-Frankivsk (337), Zakarpattia (217), Kyiv city(215), Zhytomyr (205) and Kyiv (193) regions.

1,219,455 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine, 1,018,784 recovered.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine received a response from the COVAX program, according to which 117,000 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech coronavirus vaccine will be delivered to the country in February. 

"Already in February, Ukraine will receive 117,000 doses of US-made m-RNA vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech, which will immediately be distributed to vaccinate hospital workers that provide care to patients with Covid-19," the country's chief sanitary doctor Lyashko said.

This is not the whole vaccine  batch underthe COVAX program. In parallel, starting from February, Ukraine will be able to receive from 2.2 to 3.7 million doses of AstraZeneca / Oxford vaccine for the next stages of the campaign.
