16,943 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Ukraine on November 24, another 628 patients died, the press service of the Ministry of Healthcare reports.

The largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv city (1,688), Zaporizhia (1,066), Lviv (1,048), Poltava (967) and Donetsk (924) regions.

On November 24, 102,899 tests were conducted in Ukraine (including PCR - 52,316, ELISA - 10,092, rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 - 40,491). 3,404 people were hospitalized during the day.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,384,404 cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the country. At the same time, 2,852,452 people (+26,811 per day) have already recovered and were discharged from medical institutions. However, 83,541 (+628) patients died from complications caused by the infection.

On the same day, over 275,000 people were vaccinated against the coronavirus. In total, more than 13 million people have been vaccinated in the country.

Thus, 275,319 people were vaccinated against coronavirus on November24. Of them, 82,501 people received a single dose of the vaccine, and 192,818 people were fully immunized.

It should be noted that 13,083,135 people have been vaccinated in the country since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. Of them, 13,083,133 received one dose, and 10,418,000 received two doses and were fully immunized.

A total of 23,501,133 vaccinations were carried out in the country.

The Ministry of Health noted that 88.2% of those hospitalized with Covid-19 last week did not receive a single dose of coronavirus vaccine.

As it was reported earlier, Ukraine has pledged in a memorandum with the IMF to vaccinate 17 million people by the end of 2021.
