On March 4, the Ministry renewed the list of the ‘red’, ‘orange’ and ‘yellow’ zones of the epidemic security on the incidence rate with Covid-19, hospitalization level and occupancy of hospitals. Three regions are in the ‘red’ zone, while Kyiv stays in the ‘yellow’ zone.

Thus, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions are in the ‘red’ zone. Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Ternopil regions are in the ‘orange’ zone.

Other regions and Kyiv stay in the ‘yellow’ zone.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal claimed that the third wave of coronavirus pandemic has begun in Ukraine.

Besides, he underlined that if most of the Ukrainian regions end up in the red quarantine zone, there could be another lockdown in this country.
