The Obolon District Court of Kyiv postponed the consideration of the state treason case of the former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on June 22 as Ukrainian News reported.
"Taking into account, that at the moment the lawyers did not provide the defense's witnesses one more time, I announce the break until tomorrow, 10:00," Vladyslav Deviatko, the presiding judge reported.
Also, Deviatko emphasized that the court does not intend to increase the number of the defense's witnesses planned to be questioned and the debates will take place on July 30.
As we reported fugitive MP Andry Artemenko appealed to Obolon District Court of Kyiv with an appeal to testify as a witness in the case of the state treason of former president Viktor Yanukovych.
Also, the Obolon District Court of Kyiv intends to finish the consideration of the case of former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych suspected in the state treason until August 1.
"The court will determine the final data of the debates on July 30 or July 31, 2018. The stand-by date is August 1"
Yanukovych is charged with state treason, assistance in deliberate actions against Ukraine’s state border, sovereignty and territorial integrity and assistance in leading the aggressive war against Ukraine.
