The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine seized the property of former MP Maksym Mykytas. He is suspected of illegally seizing the property of the National Guard worth over 3.3 million dollars. The law enforcers stated this, as Ukrainian News reports.
“The property was seized,” the message said.
Earlier Maksym Mykytas was bailed for 220,000 million dollars.
As it was reported, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office informed ex-MP of the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation of suspicion in seizure of property of the National Guard of Ukraine for the amount of more than 3.3 million dollars.
NABU detectives have been investigating the case since December 2017.
It is known that the NABU requested the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court to seize the property of former Verkhovna Rada MP Maksym Mykytas, who is suspected of misappropriation of 3.3 million dollars public funds in exchange of apartments for the National Guard soldiers.
