Shevchenkivsky District Court obliged the State Bureau of Investigation detectives to investigate the presumed interference of Spokesperson of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy in the election process. This was stated in the decision of the court.
According to the document, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) is obliged to include data about the criminal offence to the Unified registry of pre-trial investigations.
The document states that the complainant sent an application to the PGO about committing the criminal offence by the Head of the Verkhovna Rada under the article Interference of the officer using the rank to the implementation of the electoral commission or referendum commission their responsibilities, set by the law, committed by the illegal requiring or instructions with a view to influence on the electoral or referendum commission’s decision according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, the court obliged the NABU to open a criminal case under the articles "Misuse of funds"; "budget expenditure, loans from budget without budget purpose or with excessive of this purpose" and "Abuse of authority or official position", according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
