Court in Kyiv dismissed the appeal of defense of Ivan Bezyazykov, colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who is suspected in connection with militants, and kept him under arrest until May 12. This was reported by 112 Ukraine TV channel correspondent.
Lawyers have appealed the decision about his arrest, demanded another preventive measure and offered house arrest. However, court rejected the appeal and left the decision of Shevchenkivskyi district court about restrictive measure in the form of arrest without any changes.
As 112.International reported, the Ukrainian officer was released from captivity of pro-Kremlin rebels in July. Earlier, Bezyazykov was detained by the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, and brought to trial under charges of collaboration with the militants.
