Solomensky District Court obliged the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to open the proceeding against Justice Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko under suspicion of the declaration of false data as Bihus.Info reported.
The proceeding should be opened under the article “Declaration of false data”.
The minister is suspected in the declaration of false data: his niece Bozhena Klychuk became an owner of two flats at elite dwelling in downtown Kyiv and Lexus NX200 as he was appointed a justice minister.
According to the electronic declaration, Petrenko does not possess his own accommodation and lives in the rented house. His niece does not live at any of two flats.
This information was found out by the journalists-investigators when the public organization “TOM 14” founded by author’s collective of the TV program filed a lawsuit against NABU for inaction when the data was not put on the united register of pretrial investigations when it received the application on the criminal violation.
Also, NABU made a report of suspected illicit enrichment for Pavlo Demchyna, First Deputy Chairman of SBU, who heads the anti-corruption department.
