“The court ruled to refuse the motion of the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and Ulyana Suprun on cancellation of the measures which secure suit. To cancel the measures which secure the administrative suit taken by the District Administrative Court on February 5, 2019 under its own initiative,” the judge said on February 14.
He noted that according to the court, there are no reasons to secure the administrative court in these conditions. Therefore, the decision was cancelled under the initiative of the court.
After the court session, Suprun said that tomorrow hearing on the merits will be held.
“Today morning, I started signing the documents, drugs are being delivered to the regions, I am signing the documents, so that patients could be treated abroad. We know, that tomorrow, at 2:50 pm the hearing on the merits will be held,” Suprun said on air of 112 Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that drugs for patients with cancer, hepatitis, HIV and AIDS positive people cannot be distributed due to the suspension of Suprun.
As we reported, Suprun's role as acting health minister was questioned by MP from the Radical Party of Lyashko Ihor Mosiychuk. The court explained that such a decision was made as Suprun has dual citizenship. Apart from the Ukrainian one, she also has a U.S. passport.
The government of Ukraine expressed the support of Suprun, as well as the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, did.
