Pechersk district court kept Ivan Bezyazykov, colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suspected in connection with militants, in detention until April 8, 2017. This was reported by Larysa Sargan, the press secretary for the Prosecutor General on Twitter page.
“The detention of Colonel Bezyazykov, suspected in state treason and cooperation with “DPR”, was extended until April 8, 2017 by the decision of Pechersk District Court,” Sargan reported.
As 112.International reported, the Ukrainian officer was released from captivity of pro-Kremlin rebels in July. Earlier, Bezyazykov was detained by the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, and brought to trial under charges of collaboration with the militants.
