The Kyiv Court of Appeal granted the appeal of the defense of ex-MP Tetiana Chornovol and changed the preventive measure from round-the-clock house arrest to the night arrest. The Ukrainska Pravda news agency reports that with reference to the court hearing on April 24.
According to the court, Chornovol should be at home from 22:00 to 6:00. The restriction is valid until June 8. The court decision is final and, thus, is not subject to appeal.
It is noted that the full text of the decision will be announced on April 30.
On April 16, the Pechersk court chose a preventive measure for Chornovol in the form of a round-the-clock house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
As we reported before, former MP Tetiana Chornovol refused to testify to the State Investigation Bureau (SIB).
The SIB stated that Chornovol is suspected of the organization of the arson at an office in Kyi in February 2014, which led to the death of a person.
